Professor Subhash Chandra Lakhotia is a famous cytogeneticist, academic, Distinguished Professor of Zoology, and the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) Distinguished Fellow at the Banaras Hindu University. A Raja Ramanna fellow of the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Atomic Energy, he is an elected fellow of all three major Indian science academies: Indian National Science Academy, Indian Academy of Sciences and National Academy of Sciences, India. He is a Senior Fellow of the Cell Stress Society International (USA). The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, the apex agency of the Government of India for scientific research, awarded him the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, one of the highest Indian science awards, in 1989, for his contributions to biological sciences.
Professor Vibha Tripathi is a famous Indian archaeologist. She has worked in the field of Proto-historic and Early-Historic Archaeology and Archaeometallurgy and has published around more than 200 research papers. As of 2019, she is a Professor Emeritus at the Department of Ancient History and Archaeology, Banaras Hindu University.
